Why We Teach

Born in 2013 from our own personal struggles with dyslexia, Achieve More Reading Center is committed to helping families find answers and gain confidence in literacy abilities. We understand the impact reading challenges have on children and families, but we also know the science behind reading. We’ve been in your shoes, and we’re here to tell you there is hope and progress beyond the struggle. 

With more than 40 years of experience, our Orton-Gillingham tutors in Madison, Wisconsin are trained to use multi-sensory teaching to help children and adults learn and understand the structure and rules of the English language. When armed with these tools, our students truly are set up for success.

Driven by a Quest

There is thrill and joy in reading and writing, and the team at Achieve More Reading Center is here to help you or your child discover it. Because of our personal experiences with dyslexia – our founder Robyn Jeffords started Achieve More while on a quest to help her own children – we understand what dyslexic children experience intellectually and emotionally. We build relationships with the families we serve, and we’re proud to teach the skills that help so many children become successful adults.
